Scope of services
The LVA's business field of analysis encompasses chemical, microscopic and microbiological analysis as well as sensory evaluation of products that are subject to the Food Safety And Consumer Protection Act of 2006 (LMSVG) and specific food-related special laws (e.g. Table Salt Act, Wine Act, etc.).
Our specialist team analyzes all foods, cosmetics and consumption articles. In specific cases, we also cooperate with select, specialized institutes and laboratories. In addition to specific orders for the analysis of certain features, properties, ingredients and additives of foods, we also undertake analyses for verifications within the scope of routine product and process inspections, such as for recipe inspections, production samples and the analysis of samples drawn by government bodies for cross-checks, confirmation of hygienic properties and inspection of contractually agreed product features.
The detailed selection of analysis services includes a comprehensive overview of our analyses as well as the scopes of special analyses for specific products.
The analysis area is accredited according to the standard EN ISO 17025 and the quality management system introduced in 1998 guarantees reliability, safety and recognition of the analysis results. This reliability is ensured through constant monitoring of our processes and equipment through validation, control cards, monitoring samples and calibration according to statistical methods and by internal and external audits.
